Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Melbourne, FL

Duration: 1 Year

WORK SHIFT: 8am-5:30pm (9/80A)

Role Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to research, design, develop, and test electrical components, systems, and networks. This role focuses on electrical wiring harness routing and integration for military and commercial aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the electrical wiring team with design needs and manufacturing integration.
  • Route cable/wiring harnesses in a 3D environment following NG standards and MIL-W-5088 or AS50881.
  • Design and release cable/wiring installation drawings.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical challenges quickly.
  • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 4-5 years of experience in electrical cable/wiring harness routing on military or commercial aircraft, OR
  • Master’s degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Visio).
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NX Siemens , Teamcenter Enterprise (TcE) , CATIA , or SolidWorks.
  • Knowledge of designing and integrating components into larger systems.
  • Project management experience (schedule and technical performance).
  • Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving.
