Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and accurate Back Office Operations Specialist to join our Managed Product Services team. This role serves as the first point of contact for internal requests and involves processing high-volume tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and process requests related to account setups, changes, closings, and transfers
Create and manage tickets in AWS and other internal systems; index tickets to appropriate teams
Ensure accuracy and compliance when handling financial products such as mutual funds, equities, and securities
Maintain and update spreadsheets; generate pivot tables and basic macros as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in cross-training opportunities
Uphold SLA commitments (typically 24 hours or 4 hours for priority tasks)
Must-Have Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of banking operations experience (back office preferred; front office acceptable with training)
Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, macros, data manipulation)
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work in a high-volume environment (team processes approx. 500-600 requests daily)
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with AWS ticketing systems.
Basic knowledge of financial products (registered/non-registered accounts, mutual funds, securities).
