Title: Sr. SAP FICO Solution Design Consultant

Description:

Responsibilities:

SAP FICO solution design, configuration and deployment for global and Local ECC projects.
Collaborate with Finance Business teams to capture requirements and align them with system design.
Deliver robust solutions in FI (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, Consolidation) and CO (Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA, Profit Center Accounting)
Configure and test system and business processes, resolve defects, and support testing.
Manage cross-functional FICO integration points with SD, MM, PP and HR.
Provide production support including ticket resolution through ServiceNow, enhancements, and month-end closing activities.
Idoc processing, resolve errors, and ensure timely data flow between SAP and external systems.
Provide Vertex tax integration support in SAP ECC.
Partner with Vertex support teams for vertex tax issues and possible vertex accelerator updates.
Handle Incident management and Change Requests, including functional specification preparation and testing.
Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom coding and debugging
Support testing cycles (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) for all project phases.
Document solutions, and standard operating procedures for knowledge transfer.
Experience with Solution Manager or external job scheduling tools like Control-M
Investigate and resolve job failures (financial postings, settlement runs, payment runs, billing jobs, etc.) for a successful job execution.
Develop, Update and Maintain RICEF (Reports, Interface, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
Perform FICO system validation testing after system refresh to ensure FICO settings are complete to start posting.
Support end-to-end cutover checklist and detailed task sequencing including planning, execution, and coordination across business and technical teams.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years SAP ECC FICO Finance and Controlling space, ability to support OTC(SD). Experience with at least 1-3 end- to- end Full life cycle implementations.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading solution design activities for FICO project requirements.
Experience/background in designing and managing supply chain processes.
Experience working in DevOps teams, projects and managing upgrades, deployments as needed.
Team player who is able to adapt and work with multi-cultural teams
Self-motivated team player who is up to date in the area of Digital Supply chain and trends
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years’ work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience
