Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually – $120,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
Judge Direct Placement is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for a national Engineering solutions client in the Boston suburbs!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in design and troubleshooting of Instrumentation Controls systems for all mechanical and electrical issues including but not limited to PLCs, various motion controls, multi-axis servos, SCADA systems, AC/DC drives, electronics, PLC to PC interface systems, pneumatics and photoelectric controls.
  • Reviews existing processes and recommends innovative methods for improving utilization of the equipment, and other resources.
  • Communicate and review operational performance of production equipment and develop solutions to improve productivity
  • Develop, maintain, program, and troubleshoot automation and control system solutions to support production of PLC’s and HMI’s
  • Oversee electrical panel design, layout, and wiring schematics
  • Write equipment specifications & flow charts
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering team to ensure maximum efficiency of production equipment
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities by recommending improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology
  • 4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • HMI / SCADA systems
  • PLC/HMI programming & troubleshooting experience
  • Rockwell , Siemens S7, and GE Fanuc PLC, experience preferred
  • HART Protocol, GAMP5,
  • ANSI/ ISA- 88
  • RS Logix & Wonderware software experience preferred
  • Ability to work in high-paced environment
  • Drive to progress career
