Logistics Specialist

Akkodis is Seeking a Logistics Specialist for location of Clearwater FL. This is a 6-month contract Position. Ideally looking for a candidate with experience in Aerospace Industry.

Pay Range: $25 – $32/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Job Duties

Shipping and receiving knowledge

Skills:

Organization, Attention to detail, Communication, Team Building, Microsoft office, Inventory, Problem solving, Time management, Strong record keeping and reporting, and Customer Service.

Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.

Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.

May require an associate’s degree or equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
