A recognized services company in New York City is looking to add a new HR Data Specialist to play a key role in managing HRIS data, supporting union-related processes, and ensuring smooth employee communication.

About the Opportunity:

  • Assignment Length: 3 to 4 months
  • Schedule:Monday to Friday
  • Setting:Remote

Responsibilities

  • Perform extensive HR data entry in Dayforce HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Manage union-related data, including payroll deductions, union dues, initiation details, and deduction confirmations
  • Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and generate HR reports
  • Respond to employee and union inquiries regarding benefits via phone and email, maintaining professionalism and resolving discrepancies
  • Diffuse upset employees by gathering information, providing accurate answers, and correcting issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager through weekly check-ins and occasional team huddles

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR data entry
  • Familiarity with Union environments
  • Knowledge of Benefits Administration
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Dayforce HRIS
  • Skilled in employee communication and problem resolution
