Description:

Role: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ (Onsite)

Contract: 7 Months

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the highest quality of software products before release. In this role, you will design and execute tests, identify and document bugs, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. You will also guide the team on testing tools, reporting, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain functional and automated test cases.
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects during testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Re-test after fixes to ensure defects are resolved and no new issues arise.
  • Coach team members on testing best practices, tools, and reporting.
  • Drive process improvements for quality assurance workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • 2 years of automation testing using Selenium with Java.
  • 2 years of performance testing experience.
  • 2 years working in Agile environments.
  • Strong background in functional testing.
  • Equivalent combination of 4 years of education and related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with automated testing tools beyond Selenium.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with security testing methodologies.
