Role:LLM Industrial Engineers — Manufacturing
Type: Short-Term Contract (1 Month)
Location: Remote (USA Only)
Rate: $70–$110 per hour
Availability: 20–30 hours per week, with 2 hours overlap with PST timezone
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Industrial Engineers, Process Engineers, or Operations Analysts for a short-term project with a leading AI lab. You’ll use your expertise in process improvement, production systems, and workflow optimization to help enhance large language models (LLMs).
Your input will help shape how AI understands real-world manufacturing systems, identifies inefficiencies, and optimizes operations across complex industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and solve real-world industrial and production engineering scenarios to test AI reasoning.
- Develop structured analyses around process optimization, lean manufacturing, and production planning.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, efficiency, and operational logic.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to refine model understanding of continuous improvement and systems engineering principles.
Skills & Requirements:
- 4 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, or Operations Analyst.
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Minitab, or Python).
- Strong understanding of workflow design, lean principles, Six Sigma, and quality control.
- Excellent analytical reasoning and communication skills.
- No prior AI experience required — training provided.
