Website Design & SEO Specialist (REMOTE!)

The Greene Group is a boutique recruiting and staffing agency in New York City. We need a part-time website and SEO specialist to level up our site and digital presence.

Fully remote. Work outside normal hours is fine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own website design, structure, and UX for thegreenegroup.com

• Build and update pages, landing pages, and banners

• Improve site speed, mobile performance, and Core Web Vitals

• Set up on-page SEO across titles, meta, headers, alt text, and internal links

• Plan site architecture and navigation for clarity and crawlability

• Implement schema markup where relevant

• Do keyword research and map keywords to pages

• Create simple wireframes and page templates that convert

• Track results with GA4, Google Search Console, and simple dashboards

• Run A/B tests on headlines, CTAs, and layouts

• Optimize forms and funnels for lead capture

• Keep brand consistency across all visuals and page content

• Design supporting assets in Canva when needed

• Manage tasks and deadlines with clear status updates

REQUIREMENTS:

• Portfolio with live website work and measurable SEO wins

• Strong Webflow, WordPress, or Squarespace experience

• Solid grasp of UX, responsive design, and accessibility basics

• Proven on-page SEO skills and comfort in GA4 and GSC

• Experience improving page speed and Core Web Vitals

• Basic HTML and CSS for clean, lightweight pages

• Clear writing for titles, meta, and on-page copy

• Canva proficiency for quick graphics
