QA Automation Engineer-W2 Only( & GC)
Location: Columbus, OH or Minneapolis, MN (onsite 4 days/week)
Type: long Term Contract / Full Time
Role Summary
Looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience to design, build, and execute automated test cases. This role requires the ability to translate requirements into automation scripts and execute functional, regression, and integration testing in an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test scripts
- Convert requirements into test cases and automation coverage
- Execute automation and manual tests as needed
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
- Log defects, track issues, and support release cycles
- Participate in requirements reviews and Agile ceremonies
Must-Have Skills
- 3 5+ years of test automation experience
- Strong scripting experience with WebdriverIO or similar automation tools
- Automation scripting in Ruby/Cucumber or equivalent language (Java/C# acceptable)
- Solid SQL and database testing experience
- Experience with UI and API testing
- Experience working in Agile + TDD/ATDD environments
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management tools
- Ability to work onsite 4 days per week
Nice to Have
- RubyMine experience
- Performance testing tools (JMeter or similar)
- Test certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.)
Candidate Profile
Organized, self-driven automation tester with strong communication skills, strong testing fundamentals, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
