Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly skilled Azure IoT Full-Stack Engineer / Lead to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of cloud-native IoT solutions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with deep expertise in Azure services , IoT workloads , and gRPC-based microservices, capable of leading distributed engineering teams while collaborating closely with client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design and development of microservices and APIs on Azure, emphasizing clear, contract-first interfaces (REST/gRPC).

Partner with client technical teams and IntraEdge offshore engineers to align architecture, priorities, and deliverables.

Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Compliance, and Partners to translate business needs into scalable technical designs.

Govern API contracts and event schemas; manage schema registry and enforce consistency across services.

Conduct code reviews, ensure quality standards, and mentor engineers on microservices, IoT, and event-driven best practices.

Architect and integrate Azure IoT Hub , IoT Edge , Event Hub or Kafka , schema registry, and edge data persistence (SQLite/Azure SQL Edge).

Drive observability and monitoring through Azure Monitor, logging, tracing, metrics, and dashboards.

Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines , blue-green/canary deployments, and operational runbooks.
Required Skills & Experience

8 years of experience in cloud-native application development , with strong hands-on coding in .NET , Node.js/TypeScript , or Go.

Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services: AKS, API Management, Event Hub, IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Blob/SQL storage, Monitor/Log Analytics.

Expertise in microservices design patterns: saga, idempotency, retries, pub/sub, circuit breaker.

Proven experience in event-driven architectures (Kafka/Event Hub), schema evolution, and replayable workflows.

Hands-on experience with IoT and Edge workloads — MQTT, offline-first design, and device-to-cloud synchronization.

Familiarity with gRPC and Protocol Buffers, including contract-first API design and streaming implementations.

Demonstrated leadership in managing distributed teams and delivering enterprise-grade solutions across onshore/offshore models.

Strong communication skills to bridge business and technical discussions with diverse stakeholders.
Nice to Have

Experience with Azure SQL Edge or similar edge databases.

Exposure to event schema governance and data lineage.

Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture or Azure IoT.
