Brand Specialist — Food Distribution

📍 City of Industry, CA | 💼 Full-Time | 💰 $50,000 — $60,000 per year

Overview

We’re looking for a Brand Specialist to manage and grow value-added and wholesale food distribution accounts. In this role, you’ll work closely with merchandisers and operations teams to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment and maintain excellent customer relationships across distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage orders from multiple distribution centers.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.
• Oversee pick tickets, load sheets, and driver scheduling updates.
• Maintain communication between distribution centers and internal departments.
• Manage weekly product pricing and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with produce managers, merchandising teams, and sales leadership.
• Prepare and manage reports and handle credit or pricing adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, logistics, or distribution preferred.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of warehousing or food distribution operations is a plus.

Decision-Making Scope

• Independently manage weekly pricing and smaller credits (under $500).
• Collaborate with supervisors on larger issues, such as miss-shipments or high-value credits.
