About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in performing data and error analysis to improve machine learning models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Your expertise will drive the development and deployment of advanced AI solutions and predictive models that directly impact healthcare services and operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to interpret complex datasets, develop innovative algorithms, and implement agentic workflows that enhance autonomous decision-making capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, with a passion for solving complex healthcare challenges through data-driven approaches.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • 6+ years of professional experience as a data scientist, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
  • Knowledge of big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SDLC methodologies
  • Expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms (k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, neural networks)
  • Experience in designing and implementing agentic workflows utilizing AI agents
  • Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques
  • Proven ability to fine-tune pre-trained models for specific applications
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting complex insights to varied audiences

Responsibilities

  • Extract and interpret meaningful insights from complex datasets to inform strategic decisions
  • Design, develop, and train machine learning models using diverse algorithms and techniques
  • Develop and implement agentic workflows that utilize AI agents for autonomous task execution
  • Employ retrieval-augmented generation patterns to enhance language model performance
  • Fine-tune pre-trained models to adapt them for specific healthcare applications
  • Clean, preprocess, and validate data to ensure high-quality inputs for modeling efforts
  • Deploy AI models into production environments and monitor their performance for accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to integrate AI solutions into existing systems
  • Conduct research to stay current with advancements in AI and machine learning, applying new methodologies to ongoing projects
  • Create comprehensive documentation of models, methodologies, and analytical results for stakeholders
  • Mentor junior data scientists and team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Partner with business teams to develop ML models that improve key metrics such as Star ratings and care gap reduction
  • Present complex analytical findings clearly to non-technical audiences and executive leadership
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven solutions and technology-enabled improvements across healthcare processes
