Location: Fargo, ND

Salary: $30.00 USD Hourly – $34.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Engineering Technician

Location: Fargo, ND

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Job Purpose:

  • To test electronic products and ensure they are ready for production.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual testing of electronic assemblies and record results.
  • Set up lab equipment based on engineering instructions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on testing equipment and products.

Key Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers, including spreadsheets and word processing tools.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills to identify root causes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documents such as schematics and diagrams.
  • Competence in maintaining accurate product records and documentation.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electronic components.
  • Experience using test equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Background in one or more of the following areas: Electronics, Electrical work or contracting, Automotive repair (on-road/off-road), Communication or networking hardware, Robotics, automation, or mechatronics, Agricultural or farming equipment

Education:

  • Associate degree in Electronics, a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military training, or relevant hands-on experience.
