Territory Sales Manager (HVAC)- Pleasantville, NJSalary: $55k/year with commissionOverview: Our client – a leading HVAC/R distributor – is seeking an experienced and driven Territory Sales Manager to generate new business and expand market share across the HVAC/R industry, with a strong emphasis on growing the refrigeration division. This role is focused on new account development, customer relationship management, and overall sales growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong HVAC outside sales background, with refrigeration knowledge strongly preferred, and a track record of success.Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new accounts and expand market presence, with a focus on refrigeration growth.
- Prospect, cold call, and follow up on leads to generate new opportunities.
- Manage and strengthen existing customer relationships to maximize account potential.
- Prepare quotations, manage pricing for assigned accounts, and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse and branch managers to coordinate orders and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Accurately document sales activity, pipelines, and call logs in CRM systems.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and events as needed.

- Minimum 5 years of business-to-business outside sales experience in HVAC/R (refrigeration experience strongly preferred).
- Established customer network or following within the HVAC/R distribution market is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to win new business and grow market share.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient when prospecting.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools (Eclipse or similar a plus).
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
- Valid driver”s license with a clean driving record.
