About the Role Gavin Harris State Farm is seeking an Account Service Representative who’s passionate about helping people and thrives in a professional, fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll manage customer relationships, handle service requests, and ensure every client interaction is efficient, accurate, and positive.You’ll work directly with customers to process policy changes, handle billing and claims inquiries, and identify opportunities to connect them with the Agent for coverage reviews and financial services.Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Process endorsements, issue ID cards, handle reinstatements, and update mortgagee information.
- Manage billing questions, process payments, and assist customers through claims procedures.
- Maintain retention and lapse-prevention lists; perform proactive outreach to keep policies in force.
- Schedule coverage review appointments with the Agent to ensure customers have comprehensive protection.
- Document all communications accurately and follow established office procedures.
- Follow State Farm compliance and service standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in daily huddles and monthly performance reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses in Georgia or Alabama (required).
- 1–3 years of experience in insurance or customer service preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
- Comfortable learning and using technology, including Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
