Our client in the procurement industry is seeking a forward-thinking, freelance AI Marketing Strategy Consultant (B2B) to collaborate directly with their CMO. In this strategic role, you’ll help amplify their brand, outpace competitors, innovate new ways to drive lead gen, and turn AI into a competitive edge for marketing and business growth.

This is a flexible, remote, project-based role with direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape the future of marketing in a rapidly evolving industry. This opportunity will average around 5-10 hours/week, potentially more for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and partner with the CMO to develop and implement cutting-edge AI strategies across marketing channels and operations.
  • Identify emerging trends and technologies to ensure the Marketing Team stays ahead of industry shifts and competitor tactics.
  • Drive innovative lead generation programs powered by AI tools, data insights, and automation.
  • Deliver strategic recommendations and implement proofs-of-concept that enhance brand relevance, client engagement, and pipeline growth.
  • Support the buildout of AI-driven content creation, thought-leadership, and personalization strategies to reinforce market leadership.
  • Benchmark competition and identify gaps and opportunities for proactive positioning.

Ideal Experience

  • Proven expertise in AI applications within B2B marketing, ideally in the consulting or professional services space.
  • Strong knowledge of lead generation strategies and data-driven performance optimization.
  • Ability to translate complex AI trends into practical strategies that drive measurable impact.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to innovation, experimentation, and strategic foresight.
