Job Description:

Highland Hospital is seeking a Lead Patient Registration Associate for our Red Creek Cardiology office. Hours would be Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm.

The Lead Clerical Team Member plays a pivotal role in managing patient-facing administrative operations in a fast-paced outpatient cardiology clinic. This lead position guides and mentors clerical staff, oversees and optimizes daily workflows, and ensures the delivery of exceptional patient service. Success in this role requires strong emotional intelligence, collaboration with clinical and administrative teams, and a commitment to fostering a respectful, empathetic, and resilient work environment.

Salary Range:

$20.30- $26.87 an hour

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Job Requirements:

  1. Education: High school or GED required. A.A.S preferred., preferably in Secretarial Science; or equivalent experience in a medical setting.

  2. Experience: 2-3 years working in a medical office preferred; would accept candidates with 1-2 years of experience with proven leadership skills

  3. License/Certification Required:

  4. Skills: Computer experience and medical terminology required; medical billing experience preferred; strong communication skills required.
