We’re partnering with a growing renewable energy platform backed by a leading infrastructure investor seeking a Revenue Lead to oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle across a diverse portfolio of clean energy assets. This role will be instrumental in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, efficient billing operations, and strong collaboration between accounting, FP&A, and asset management teams. The company owns and operates a diversified portfolio of distributed generation and solar energy assets, delivering clean energy solutions that support decarbonization, resiliency, and energy efficiency for commercial and institutional customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end revenue process, including invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition across multiple revenue streams (e.g. PPAs, community solar subscriptions, capacity payments).
  • Partner with accounting and FP&A teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue forecasting, reporting, and month-end close.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Support continuous process improvements and automation initiatives across billing and revenue operations.
  • Collaborate with project structuring, power marketing, and asset management teams to ensure alignment between commercial contracts and financial reporting.
  • Prepare revenue analyses and insights to support decision-making and portfolio growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or revenue management – ideally within renewable energy, infrastructure, or other asset-based industries.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and end-to-end revenue processes.
  • Experience working with complex contract structures such as PPAs or subscription-based revenue models.
  • Proficiency in ERP or billing systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and strong Excel or BI tool skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
