About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Enterprise Data Management , modern data architectures , and cloud-based solutions, with a proven ability to design, lead, and implement large-scale BI/DW and data modernization projects. This role requires strong technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and the ability to translate complex data needs into scalable, efficient, and future-ready architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architectures and frameworks supporting enterprise data management and analytics initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end data solution design including data modeling , integration , governance , quality , and master data management.
  • Architect solutions leveraging modern data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, etc.).
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
  • Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes using ETL/ELT , CDC , and modern data pipeline automation techniques.
  • Implement and optimize Big Data and Cloud solutions using tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, Impala, and HBase.
  • Ensure architectural compliance with data governance, security, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including onshore and offshore teams, to deliver robust and high-performing data solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying architectural gaps and proposing enhancements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in data management, architecture, and analytics.

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10 years of experience in BI/DW and Enterprise Data Management implementations.

  • 3 years in technical or solution architecture roles.

  • 3 years of consulting experience.

  • 2 years working with offshore teams.

  • 2 years in modern data architecture (Big Data, Cloud, Open-source).

  • Hands-on experience in at least three of the following areas:

  • Data Integration

  • Data Modeling

  • Big Data

  • Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Data Governance & Quality / Master Data Management

  • Cloud Platform Architecture

  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, SQL).

  • Deep understanding of API constructs (RESTful interfaces).

  • Expertise in various Data Architecture models Dimensional, ODS, Data Vault, and Normalized.

  • Proficiency with Big Data storage formats (Avro, Parquet) and distributed systems (HBase, Hive, Impala, Cassandra, MongoDB).

  • Experience with Hadoop security tools (Ranger, Sentry).

  • Knowledge of cloud automation , infrastructure provisioning , and CI/CD data pipeline strategies.

  • Familiarity with data modeling tools and major database platforms (RDS, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift).

  • Understanding of streaming/messaging technologies and data orchestration tools.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks is a plus.
