Lab Tech
Job Description
A large hospital system is seeking a Lab Technician to join a team of three. This team is responsible for:
• Managing lab inventory
• Processing samples for research studies (including preparing dilutions and reagents)
• Storing and shipping up to 50 samples daily to sponsors
• Assembling lab kits
• Responding to sponsor lab inquiries
They’re looking for candidates with prior academic or hospital lab experience, particularly in sample processing, storage, and shipping. Equipment used includes: Centrifuges, freezers, refrigerators, scales, chemical hoods, and biosafety cabinets.
Schedule: M-F 9-5:30

Skills and Requirements
1 years of experience working as a Lab Tech in a hospital or academic setting
Specimen processing experience -> Centrifuge samples or shipping
Inventory management
Experience shipping and processing lab samples
Associates Degree SOP’s / quality control understanding
Prior clinical trials or blood bank experience
Working under pressure / fast paced environment
Attention to detail
Certified MLT’s
