Electrical Engineer
Work for a manufacturer based in Central New Jersey.Electrical Engineer:As our production capacity grows, we”re looking for an Electrical Engineer to support our manufacturing systems and ensure reliable, efficient operations.Position Summary: We”re seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting. In this role, you will support automation, electrical system design, equipment troubleshooting, and process optimization across our facilities.Key Responsibilities: – Design, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and automation
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to support upgrades and modifications to machinery
- Support the integration of PLCs, sensors, control panels, and safety systems
- Assist in implementing energy-efficient systems and ensuring compliance with electrical codes
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide solutions for electrical failures or inefficiencies
- Help develop and maintain electrical schematics, documentation, and preventive maintenance procedures
- Participate in capital improvement and equipment installation projectsJob Requirements Qualifications: – Bachelor”s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
- Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and industrial automation systems
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and industrial safety practices
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work cross-functionallyPreferred: – Experience in window/door manufacturing or related industries
- Familiarity with energy management systems and electrical cost reduction initiatives
- Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practicesAnnual Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000/yearDJ Miljkovic
