Description:
Title : Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Palmdale, CA onsite

Duration: Contract | 6 Months

Note : Active secret clearance with an investigation within last 5 years or CE Enrollment. special access required to start.

Required experience:

• Manufacturing assembly work instruction authoring
• Aircraft sub-systems assembly and integration
• Aircraft structures assembly
• Hands-on production / shop floor support (Direct ownership and support of specific operations as well as interface with touch-Labor employees)
• Reviews of engineering technical drawings and models

Desired experience:

• PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software proficiency
• On vehicle testing and troubleshooting of aircraft sub-systems
• Jet engine integration, service and maintenance familiarity
• Wire harness and interconnect installation/ integration
• Aircraft fuel systems
• Development/ protype/ first article, program support (new product introduction)
• Metallic part machining working knowledge
• 3DX, Catia V5 and Delmia software usage
• Evaluation of designs with respect to design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA) considerations
• Manufacturing assembly planning
• Aviation Maintenance Experience, A & P license or similar

STEM type degree

• 4 years of recent experience AUTHORING Manufacturing assembly work instructions, including new instructions, modifications and reworks. (please make sure this is identified clearly in resume)
