Seeking a Sr. Backend Software Developer for gathering requirements, application design, development and testing. Create presentations, demonstrating changes, deploying changes & providing technical customer support.

Duration-contract/through: 6-30-26

Work location: Columbus (onsite)

  • Responsible for new development and/or rewriting legacy applications to .NET applications utilizing C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, SQL Server, as well as a strong understanding of modern development practices.

  • Interact with cross-functional teams to conceptualize & deliver robust, scalable & user-friendly solutions. The new applications will implement N-tier architecture & comply with coding standards.

Skill description, requirement, years of experience:

  • Verifiable ASP.NET exp. developing with the C# language-Required-10yrs.

  • .NET Web Development developing ASP.NET Core MVC applications-Required-10yrs.

  • SQL server database design & development including optimization of queries, creating tables, views, stored procedures & functions-Required10yrs.

  • Understanding of N-tier environments/development & deployment-Required-10yrs

  • Developing applications using Entity Framework4.0-Required10yrs

  • SOA exp. developing and securing WCF-Required 10yrs

  • Understanding of code repository strategies, code promotion strategies & recovery using Azure DevOps (TFS)-Required 10yrs.

  • Visual Studio development starting from 2015 to present-Required 10yrs

  • Developing a project within the agile methodology-Required 5yrs

  • Understanding of developing applications that are mobile compliant-Required 5yrs

  • Developing reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and making them accessible within an MVC web application-Required 5yrs

  • Implementing AJAX-enabled controls within ASP.NET web applications-Required-5yrs

  • TFS/Azure DevOps including git, boards and CI/CD pipelines-Required 5yrs

  • Developing RESTful APIs and web services using .NET Core and .NET 5/6/8-Required-5yrs

  • TFS/Azure DevOps including git, boards, and CI/CD pipelines (A repeat of a previous entry)-Required 5yrs

  • Test Driven Development (TDD) or implementing a testing strategy for applications development-Required 2yrs

  • Microservices Development-Required 2yrs
