Duties:
Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support a large-scale Agile program involving multiple Scrum squads for a custom JAVA application that will be enhanced to into integrate with SAP . The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and skilled facilitator, capable of driving clarity across teams, managing dependencies, and mentoring other BAs. This role requires strong experience in Agile story writing, functional specifications, vendor coordination, and test case development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate cross-squad collaboration and alignment across multiple Scrum teams operating in different time zones.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements in the form of Agile user stories and Functional Specifications (FSPECS) for SAP and non-SAP integrations.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, and QA teams to ensure backlog readiness and sprint planning.
  • Write and maintain FUT (Functional Unit Test) cases to validate business requirements and ensure quality delivery.
  • Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts, promoting best practices in Agile analysis and documentation.
  • Manage internal dependencies across squads and ensure timely resolution of blockers.

Coordinate with external vendors to align deliverables, manage integration points, and track dependencies.

  • Support UAT planning and execution, including defect triage and business validation.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Agile maturity across the program.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working across multiple Scrum squads and managing cross-team dependencies.
  • 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.
  • Strong expertise in writing Agile user stories, acceptance criteria, and FSPECS for SAP integrations.
  • Hands-on experience writing FUT test cases and supporting QA/UAT efforts.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring other Business Analysts and driving consistency in documentation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and test management tools.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in large enterprise programs with vendor-managed components.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent).
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures.
