Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with deep understanding of end-to-end business processes , integration with other SAP modules , and hands-on configuration experience . This role involves both functional consulting and business process improvement, ensuring seamless financial operations and reporting in SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and support activities.
  • Perform system configuration , enhancements , and customization within SAP FICO modules (FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, CO-CCA, CO-PCA, COPA, Product Costing, etc.).
  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyse requirements, design solutions, and map them into SAP processes.
  • Integrate FICO with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, and HCM).
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities , financial reporting , and reconciliation processes.
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW).
  • Provide end-user training , documentation, and ongoing post-implementation support.
  • Work closely with ABAP, BASIS, and other technical teams for issue resolution and performance optimization.
  • Support global rollout projects and SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Core SAP Modules: FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, Taxation), CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, COPA, Product Costing)

Strong knowledge of integration with SD, MM, PP, and PS modules

Hands-on Configuration experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA

Expertise in Financial Accounting, Controlling, and Reporting processes

Understanding of Asset Accounting, Tax configurations, and Financial Consolidation

Experience in Business Process Re-engineering, Requirement Gathering, and Gap Analysis

Exposure to S/4HANA Finance (Central Finance, Universal Journal, Fiori Apps) is highly preferred

Strong understanding of FIORI, SAP BPC, and Group Reporting is a plus

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field
