Requirements
Must have:
– A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development and design. – At least 3 years of experience with software configuration management tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). – At least 3 years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment. – A minimum of 3 years of experience with Java. Preferred Qualifications: – A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. – Experience in participating in or leading an Agile team and employing modern software development practices. – Familiarity with distributed teams. – Knowledge of REST/Async API Integration. – Experience writing unit tests and API tests. – A basic understanding of reference frames and time systems, as well as natural and forced perturbations, and satellite composition. – Experience with orbital mechanics, orbit determination, maneuver reconstruction, and standard collision avoidance analysis procedures.
Responsibilities:
- I will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the Agile lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, safety, and regulations. – I will contribute to the development, documentation, and maintenance of software product architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs in a Windows operating system environment. – I will assist in identifying and troubleshooting issues to enhance the reliability and efficiency of our software products. – I will interface with the user community for technical issue resolution, collecting user feedback, and exploring future design concepts. – I will support the implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes relevant to software development. – I will engage in executing and documenting software research and development projects and work with the integration and test team to streamline execution.
