QA Lead – Data & AI Solutions

Requirements

Must have:

I require a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in QA roles specifically within data platform and analytics project environments, demonstrating proven leadership in developing and managing QA teams. Expertise in testing data pipelines, BI tools, and AI/ML workflows on Databricks is essential. Proficient SQL and Python skills for test automation and data validation are necessary, along with experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes involving business stakeholders. Familiarity with API testing, data governance tools like Azure Purview and Profisee, and experience within a SAFe Agile environment are also important.

Responsibilities:

In this role, I expect you to establish and lead a dedicated QA function to support the Enterprise Data & AI Platform. You will define roles connected to data, BI, and automation testing. You will develop and implement standardized QA processes, templates, and best practices for testing various data pipelines, ML workflows, APIs, and dashboards. Mentoring team members in data quality validation, SQL-based testing, and using tools such as Databricks, Purview, and Profisee will be part of your duties. Moreover, managing test plans and executing testing activities for data pipelines, ML models, BI dashboards, and data integrations, as well as coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders to ensure readiness for production releases will be crucial.
