We are seeking a Tech Support Engineer (TSE) who possesses a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge in specialties such as plasma generation, laser technology, or optics will be advantageous. A minimum of two years of technical work experience in the semiconductor sector is highly desired. You should be adept at interpreting data, documents, and information, displaying a strong commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism. It is essential that you can effectively function in a fast-paced environment with varying workloads and deadlines while demonstrating ownership and accountability.
Responsibilities:
As a member of our EUV Tech Support team, you’ll act as the technical representative of ASML when interacting with our customers. You will efficiently resolve machine issues by collaborating with local and global support teams, ensuring all actions are accomplished in a safe environment while promoting a culture of safety-first. Additionally, you are expected to provide flexible in-fab assistance for new and complex repair actions, support the Fab and Planning team in creating service action sequences, and share your knowledge with colleagues to enhance team flexibility and self-sufficiency. You will also monitor machine health parameters to preempt unscheduled downtime, engage in initiatives to improve service mixes, and present data-driven summaries on performance and improvement goals to customers.
Company:
The successful candidate for this position will oversee the Source Vessel/Tin and Drive Laser CO2 modules, requiring specialized diagnostic skills to address machine issues and qualify systems within designated timelines. You will report to the EUV Tech Support Group Lead and provide indirect and direct support to customers while assisting operations. This role may entail up to 40% travel, including extended hours on nights, weekends, and holidays, so a valid driver’s license and passport are required.
