Network SRE (Site Reliability Engineer Networking Focus)

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of networked systems and infrastructure.

  • Automate operations, improve observability, and maintain uptime across distributed environments.

Key Skills:

  • Networking Fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewall concepts.

  • Linux Administration: System tuning, troubleshooting, process/network monitoring.

  • Automation & Scripting: Python/Bash for automation, runbook creation, and CI/CD pipeline integration.

  • Cloud & Containers: Hands-on experience with AWS , Docker , and Kubernetes.

  • Observability & Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk for metrics and log analysis.

  • Good to Have: Knowledge of SD-WAN (especially Versa).

Focus:

  • Reliability, automation, monitoring, and operations of hybrid/cloud network environments.

SD-WAN (Versa) Engineer

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, configure, and support Versa SD-WAN solutions for enterprise networks.

  • Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues across WAN links and edge devices.

Key Skills:

  • Versa SD-WAN Expertise: Hands-on experience with Versa Director, Analytics, and FlexVNF.

  • Networking Fundamentals: Deep understanding of routing, VPNs, QoS, DNS, and firewalls.

  • Linux Administration: System management and troubleshooting.

  • Cloud & Containers: Familiarity with AWS , Docker , Kubernetes.

  • Automation (Secondary): Some scripting (Python/Bash) may be used for configuration automation or monitoring.

Focus:

  • Network design and optimization using Versa SD-WAN technologies, with emphasis on connectivity, resilience, and performance.
