About The Role We are seeking a talented Video Editor and Designer to join our dynamic team on a contract-to-hire or ongoing freelance basis. This role offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid work environments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling through visual content and possess a keen eye for detail. You will collaborate closely with our studio writers and PR strategists to conceptualize, storyboard, and produce engaging social-first content for both emerging and established brands.

Your work will support various initiatives across earned, owned, and paid channels, including videos, carousels, GIFs, infographics, and other creative formats. This position requires a hands-on approach, combining creative concepting with technical execution, and a strong understanding of current digital trends and AI tools in production workflows.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, and content production for social and digital campaigns
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing short-form videos, motion graphics, static design assets such as infographics, guides, and social templates
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong knowledge of motion design principles and kinetic typography
  • Experience repurposing long-form content into short, social-optimized formats
  • Excellent collaboration skills with writers, strategists, and account teams to translate creative ideas into visual content
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and growth-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with editorial and PR teams to develop storyboards using custom illustrations or stock assets, obtaining client approval before production
  • Edit and produce short-form videos (approximately 30–90 seconds) optimized for platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, and other social media channels
  • Assemble footage, interviews, and other assets into polished, engaging content
  • Repurpose long-form content, including webinars, interviews, and podcasts, into short, shareable clips suitable for social media
  • Design and animate motion graphics, kinetic typography, GIFs, overlays, and other social assets to enhance storytelling and visual appeal
  • Create visual assets such as infographics, guides, and social templates to support content marketing initiatives
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring consistency, creativity, and quality in deliverables
  • Work independently or collaboratively within a creative team to produce high-quality visual content that aligns with campaign goals
