We require candidates to possess an active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance prior to their start date. U.S. citizenship is essential, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. The required security clearance level is TS/SCI without Polygraph.

Responsibilities:

As a Platform Engineer II / Linux, I will expect you to engage in the daily execution of system updates and upgrades, emphasizing the Linux Server/Linux OS. Your responsibilities will include maintaining existing systems using Linux-based tools, managing the Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) stack on the system, and supporting the integration of platform provisioning tools, like VMware. You will ensure proper versioning of the COTS stack and collaborate closely with the team to implement necessary updates. Additionally, you may need to travel to customer sites to assist with system updates and deliveries as required.

If you have a BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM), particularly in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics, alongside three years of relevant experience, we would love to hear from you. Familiarity with Agile Development Methodologies, VMware, and programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is a plus.
