Senior Full-Stack Developer
Requirements
Must have:
– An active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (a clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered current). – A minimum of 3 years of foundational knowledge in object-oriented design and software patterns. – Proficiency with Git Version Control or other Distributed Version Control Systems (DVCS). Preferred Qualifications: – A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited educational institution in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. – Solid experience in Java (at least 1 year). – Familiarity with one or more technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Firebug, JS frameworks (like REACT, jQuery, jQuery UI, Open Layers), Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, MongoDB, XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL/Web Service protocols. – Experience using dependency management tools (Ivy, Maven, Gradle). – Experience in developing and maintaining SOAP, RMI, REST APIs, and interfaces. – Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS). – Experience using automation servers (Jenkins). – Knowledge of the GEOINT domain is advantageous. – An understanding of practices such as test-driven development (TDD), agile software development, continuous integration, and dependency management is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- I will analyze high-level customer requirements and derive lower-level functional requirements. – I am responsible for software development tasks, including detailed software design, coding, and unit/integration/functional/system testing for customer-desired features and user stories. – I will provide briefings on software designs and demonstrate software release functionality to customers, stakeholders, and end users. – I will develop and maintain new and existing applications while troubleshooting and resolving various software issues. – I will contribute to creating new distributed components and interactions that align with future system architecture. – I will work on a multi-tiered system developed on cloud infrastructure that includes several consumer-facing web applications. – I may be required to travel for business occasionally and provide after-hours support. – This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the specified locations.
