Requirements
Must have:
– Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship. – A minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Leadership, Product Operations, Product Management, or an Agile Project Management role. – At least 5 years of experience collaborating with engineering or software development teams. – A minimum of 3 years of experience leading project teams to achieve project goals and deliverables. Preferred Qualifications: – Over 10 years of related work experience or a combination of education and experience that is equivalent. – At least 3 years of experience in the domain of Artificial Intelligence, including Machine Learning. – A minimum of 3 years of experience using Python, ML Ops, and Data Ops frameworks. – At least 3 years of experience in managing the development and integration of business plans, strategies, and processes to meet organizational goals. – A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited curriculum.
Responsibilities:
As a Product Manager at Boeing, I will conduct workshops to translate customer requirements into a clear roadmap for technology development that maximizes the platform’s value proposition. I will document the problem space, requirements with success criteria, solution features, and the project plan clearly. I will prepare engagement content for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to facilitate regular updates, portfolio reviews, and communications. I will lead product management initiatives, ensuring that the product vision, roadmap, and strategy align with customer needs and that execution is in accordance with Boeing’s AI Operating Plan. My responsibilities also include managing project plans and performance against KPIs, collaborating with customers, functional partners, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget. I will implement best practices in program management to track progress, identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and drive strategies for mitigation. Bringing an operational viewpoint, I will ensure that process changes align with user workflows. I will also integrate communication, documentation, and training materials to ensure a smooth deployment transition and adoption. Additionally, I will partner with Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) and deployment champions to facilitate product implementation and sustainment, address technical issues, track usage, and measure the realization of product value. I will identify and monitor key deployment metrics such as model health, utilization, user satisfaction, and maintain an issues/resolution log. My role also includes driving process improvements and documenting guidance in line with our Operating Plan, as well as assisting in the development or refinement of automated digital systems to enhance organizational project management tools and processes. Lastly, I will employ methodologies like Six Sigma, Design Thinking, and Lean principles to drive ongoing process improvements in infrastructure and standards artifacts.
