Requirements


Must have:

– A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics is typically required, along with 5 years of relevant work experience. – An active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is mandatory before the start date. – Current and valid TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is essential. – Experience with automation frameworks like Chef, Puppet, and Ansible is required. – Familiarity with COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration is necessary. – Expertise in designing, implementing, and integrating platform infrastructure services using technologies such as Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and Rancher is needed. – Knowledge of programming/scripting languages including Python, Java, Bash, Perl, Ruby, and C is preferred.

Responsibilities:


  • Support the transition of systems tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure. – Assist in the architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, with a focus on performance and scalability across on-premises cloud environments. – Leverage industry best practices to enhance scalability, consistency, and infrastructure efficiency while reducing deployment times and automating configuration management. – Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission-focused solutions. – Integrate security and compliance elements into the platform, including services related to encryption and access management. – Provide operational support for the platform and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure services operating on Linux-based systems.
