We require candidates to have a current DoD Top Secret SCI clearance with a polygraph. For SWE2 positions, candidates should meet at least one of the following: – Hold a High School Diploma or GED along with twenty years of general software engineering experience, OR – Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution, complemented by fourteen years of software engineering experience. Desired Skills: We are looking for individuals with the ability to: – Analyze user specifications to determine software design and performance metrics. – Debug and rectify existing software defects. – Recommend enhancements for documentation and the software development process. – Design and code new software or adapt existing programs to introduce new functionality. – Integrate existing systems into new or modified environments. – Create basic data queries for current or prospective databases. – Review or write software and system documentation. Knowledge or experience in the following areas is advantageous: – DevOps, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines using Git. – Container technologies and management tools such as Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher. – Modern programming languages, notably Go/Golang and microservice architecture development. – Proficiency in C++20 or later (2 years), Java (4 years), front-end development using JavaScript and/or frameworks like React, Python (2 years), and Linux development environment (1 year). – Understanding of circuit-switched and mobile telephony (5 years). – Experience with event stream processing systems and SQL (MySQL, MariaDB) as well as Elasticsearch. – Familiarity with AI applications in human-language translation and RF algorithm development.
