Cloud Security Director, Application Data
Requirements
Must have:
– A minimum of 6 years of pertinent work experience is required, with typical candidates reflecting 10 or more years of relevant expertise.
Responsibilities:
- I lead and facilitate the design and implementation of development, security, and operations tools and processes, alongside multi-cloud control capabilities, to enhance our security posture. – I guide the design and operation of security controls for Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) to safeguard applications and data in cloud environments, ensuring proper implementation, clear communication, and adherence to policies and standards. – I oversee data lineage, protection, and flow controls to guarantee data integrity and compliance with applicable regulations. – I supervise cybersecurity initiatives to protect enterprise applications and data, evaluating potential risks and preparing for them. – I oversee performance monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of security measures, identify systemic compliance gaps, and propose improvement options, including cost-benefit analyses. – I foster operational engagement with data privacy functions during incidents to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. – I lead quality assurance testing and promote continuous enhancements to security processes and tools. – I manage the quantification, preparation, and communication of metrics related to business and functional performance against set objectives, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and security standards. – I promote collaboration with cybersecurity peers, data privacy partners, external experts, industry consortia, and other internal and external teams to ensure effective data protection fundamentals while meeting business objectives. – I manage team members to realize the organization’s goals by allocating resources, ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, aligning goals, providing and seeking feedback, coaching, measuring progress, holding team members accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievements and lessons learned, and fostering an inclusive team culture where talent can thrive.
