About the Role
Apex Systems is seeking a skilled Solution Architect – Manufacturing Technology to support one of our valued clients in Menasha, WI. This hybrid role offers a dynamic mix of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions tailored to modern manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and design scalable solutions
- Architect end-to-end systems integrating IoT, MES, ERP, and automation technologies
- Lead workshops and presentations to gain stakeholder alignment
- Drive smart manufacturing initiatives like predictive maintenance and digital twins
- Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, robotics, edge computing) for continuous improvement
- Oversee implementation and ensure alignment with industry standards
- Document technical specifications and provide training for successful adoption
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience: 7+ years in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in ERP, PLM, MES, WMS, QMS (Accumatica preferred)
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Deep knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, SCADA, MES, ERP)
- Proven success in manufacturing sectors like automotive, aerospace, or consumer goods
- Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, middleware)
Work Schedule & Travel
- Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (flexibility as needed)
- Travel: Minimal (0-10%)
