We are currently seeking a Registered Dietician (Hospice) in the Dallas area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end-of-life care. This person will be covering the Dallas and Fort Worth areas.

Shift Schedule: PRN (Per Diem), days may vary

Qualifications:

  • Registered Dietitian, current and valid license in operating state
  • At least six months of experience working in hospice or home health
  • Associates must have reliable means of transportation to consistently meet attendance and punctuality standards. This role does not require a valid driver’s license or personal vehicle unless specified in additional job requirements

What you’ll be doing:

  • Performs comprehensive nutrition assessments as requested including review of patients who are receiving enteral feedings
  • Contributes to plan of care, makes recommendations and provides appropriate follow- up and documentation to all patients referred
  • Provides education for hospice nursing staff including Home Health Aides and LVN/LPN regarding oral and enteral feeding techniques and safe food preparation
  • Maintains knowledge of state and federal regulations and JCAHO standards and participates in QAPI programs as requested

Anticipated pay range
$50—$55 USD
