Job Description
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a Medical/Surgical unit.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor and document patients progress and response to treatment using Medhost charting system.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management strategies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Deliver care that meets hospital quality and compliance standards, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Illinois Required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification Required
- Minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg experience Required
- Completion of at least 2 prior travel assignments Required
- Charting Experience: Medhost Required (training provided)
