Travel MRI Technologist – Atlanta, GA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,730 (based on experience)
Schedule: Friday – Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

Job Description

  • Perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans on patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  • Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Review images for quality assurance and accuracy before submitting them to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using Cerner electronic medical record systems.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
  • Adhere to all hospital, departmental, and regulatory safety standards related to radiation and magnetic field safety.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Registered with ARRT (MRI) – Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience – Required
  • Experience with Cerner EMR – Required

Skills & Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of MRI physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and imaging protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain image quality standards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when working with patients and team members
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work independently
  • Commitment to patient safety and high-quality imaging
