- You will be joining Ground Element Test engineers responsible for Integration, testing and deploying software and hardware products as an integral component of a larger, complex system and across multiple contracts throughout the full software lifecycle.
- This Position will perform technical development for the requirements and regression test team by performing requirement verification, system validation and Test Automation development.
- Design, develop, and implement testing of use cases, scenarios, and requirements use different development languages and automated test tools.
- The selected candidate will work with members of the test team of engineers when defining test plans for requirement verification, system validation and architect the test automation framework as we continue transition into a DevOps paradigm.
- Perform and/or ensure the ongoing verification/validation of the created tests
- Clearly communicating ideas and collaborate across multiple teams
- This position will require strong organizational, written and communication skills. Candidate will be interacting with engineers on the team and across teams daily.

- Experience with programing and/or scripting languages (C , JAVA, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle
- Experience with Agile and or Devops
- Final Top Secret clearance needed to start with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI within eight weeks and and willingness to obtain a poly.
Desired skills
- Self-driven – ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Automated testing experience (Cucumber, Selenium, SoapUI, junit, Sikuli, REST Assured etc.)
- Experience developing and communicating clear, concise test procedures
- Experience with building test architectures
- Experience with the Space domain (satellite ground systems and orbital platforms)
- Experience with Agile Development environments
- Experience with Agile Automated Test Development tools, software, and processes (e.g. Cypress, CI/CD pipelines, Docker container deployments, Kubernetes, JIRA, Confluence)
