About the role

As a Senior Automation Tester — Healthcare Domain , you will make an impact by leading automation and performance testing efforts for complex, multi-tier applications. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering & Assurance team and collaborate closely with offshore teams and client stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

In this role, you will:

Lead and manage automation testing tasks to meet client expectations

Design and execute performance and API tests using tools like TOSCA, Swagger, and Postman

Collaborate with offshore testing teams to ensure seamless execution and communication

Apply strong domain knowledge in Healthcare (HC) and Agile methodologies to enhance testing outcomes

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders through strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

What you need to have to be considered

8 years of experience in TOSCA automation testing and API testing

Strong proficiency in automation and performance testing

Hands-on experience with Swagger, Postman, and API testing tools

Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MongoDB

Proficiency in Jira and Confluence

Strong domain expertise in Healthcare (HC)

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

This will help you stand out

Experience in the Healthcare Provider domain

Ability to manage ad-hoc tasks with flexibility and professionalism

Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience collaborating with offshore teams

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until November 15 th , 2025

The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to 92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
