Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer

Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly – $48.00 USD Hourly

About the Role:

As a Senior Supply Chain Quality Engineer, you will drive quality excellence across the product lifecycle-from design and incoming materials to production, evaluation, and supplier performance. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality standards are met and continuously improved, leveraging data-driven insights and engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

• Apply quality engineering principles to design, production control, product evaluation, reliability, inventory, and R&D processes.
• Conduct technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models, drawings, and procedures.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Lead investigations into product failures and drive corrective/preventive actions through root cause analysis.
• Ensure corrective actions meet reliability standards and compliance requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity.
• Evaluate and enhance quality systems to identify and correct deficiencies.
• Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, equipment, and mechanisms.
• Perform statistical analysis to assess product/material compliance with specifications.
• Support supplier selection and maintain certification programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes or SAP.
• Background in one or more of the following: Quality Engineering, Systems Engineering, Materials Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Supply Chain Quality Engineering.
• Proven track record in defect resolution using root cause corrective action.
• Quality MRB certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
