responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support for translation/localization applications and tools
- Develop and maintain custom workflows, filters, and scripts
- Support production validation and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Technology, Model Risk, Product Owners)
- Manage integration, migration, and enhancement activities
- Support business continuity planning and records management
- Ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of translation solutions
- Manage access requests and certifications for line-of-business-owned applications
- Conduct research and analysis on business and operational initiatives
- Lead and support risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience initiatives
- Participate in ad hoc projects as needed
qualifications:
Required Qualifications
2 years of experience in management consulting, strategy consulting, or business operations
4 years of experience in the translation/localization industry
Hands-on experience with translation management systems (e.g., SDL TMS, WorldServer)
Proficiency with translation and terminology tools (e.g., Trados Studio, SDLX, MultiTerm)
Familiarity with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools and terminology management
Experience using online linguistic resources (dictionaries, glossaries, etc.)
Manager Note: “Translation localization technology is REQUIRED. This is very important, no one else on the team has this. If they have tools such as Wordfast, Studio, SDLX, Trados, TMS or WorldServer etc the team really wants to see their profile.”

Robust presentation and project management abilities
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
Professional and diplomatic approach to feedback and collaboration
Ability to understand the broader business context and identify opportunities
Experience working with internal clients and external vendors
Robust multitasking and prioritization skills in a deadline-driven environment
Adaptability, attention to detail, and a continuous learning mindset
Experience with Adobe Acrobat and other content tools
Familiarity with complex, matrixed organizational structures
