Job Title: Oracle APEX Interactive Reports Developer

Location : Cape Canaveral, FL

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer with a strong background in building and optimizing interactive reports. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that address complex business and mission-critical challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications with a focus on Interactive Reports.
  • Apply software development best practices, including performance optimization and secure coding standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Debug and resolve software issues, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Document technical specifications, development processes, and user guides.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Analyze system capabilities and recommend improvements to enhance functionality and performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX Interactive Reports.
  • 2 years of experience applying Oracle development best practices and optimization techniques.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using Agile tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Edition RDBMS 19c.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, including packages, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and indexes.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and its integration within Oracle APEX applications.
