Staffmark is seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Technician to ensure production runs smoothly through troubleshooting, repair, and system optimization. Pay: $32-$42/hr (based on experience)

Shift: 1st Shift

What You’ll Do:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on automated woodworking machinery (CNC, saws, conveyors, finishing equipment)

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, fluid, and hydraulic systems

  • Program, test, integrate, and debug PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and HMI controls

  • Assist with the design, maintenance, and documentation of electrical control systems, including schematics, panels, and field devices

  • Support the maintenance team with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting of production equipment

  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation to ensure performance, functionality, and safety standards

  • Prepare technical documentation, manuals, and project reports

  • Perform general facility maintenance as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI, vision systems, and robotics

  • Knowledge of AC, DC, and servo systems

  • Hands-on experience with robotic hardware/software including sensors, actuators, and PLCs

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues

  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members

  • Excellent teamwork, project management, and time-prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
