About the Launchpad Program
The Launchpad Program is our signature one-on-one mentorship experience designed to help students build direction, structure, and confidence long before they apply to college.
Through personalized systems of academic planning, extracurricular development, and “Spike” project creation, we guide students to discover who they are — and express that authentically in their applications later on.
As a Launchpad Counselor , you’ll be the student’s main guide and point of contact throughout this journey. You’ll help them navigate our core modules and ensure that every session leaves them feeling supported, clear, and motivated.
Your Role

Work directly with students (Grades 8–11) in structured one-on-one guidance sessions.

Guide them through key Launchpad deliverables such as:

3-Year Roadmap

Academic Plan
-
Summer Ladder Framework
-
Spike Blueprint
-
90-Day Execution Calendar
-
Answer all questions related to the college admissions process clearly and confidently.

Present and explain deliverables produced by other team members (you won’t be building them yourself).

Track each student’s progress, session notes, and follow-up tasks within our internal system.

Collaborate with the INSPIRATE team to refine strategies and ensure consistent, high-quality mentorship.
What We’re Looking For

At least 3 years of experience in college advising, counseling, education, or student mentorship.

Exceptional interpersonal skills — you are friendly, warm, and make people feel at ease.

High energy and enthusiasm — this is a client-facing role and the first touchpoint families have with our company.

Strong communication and organization skills, with reliable, timely follow-ups.

A genuine passion for helping students grow with confidence, purpose, and self-awareness.

(Bonus) Familiarity with the U.S. admissions process and student development programs.
Compensation & Growth

Starting rate: $35/hour

After 1 year: $37/hour

After 2 years: $40/hour
