Job Title: System Integration & Test Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Integration & Test Engineer to lead the integration, testing, and validation of complex systems comprising both in-house developed and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components. This role involves working across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, document, and maintain integrated solutions for complex systems and subsystems.
  • Translate customer requirements into effective system test strategies, balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Define functional and technical specifications, resolve hardware/software interface issues, and ensure full system integration.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.
  • Coordinate testing activities across internal teams and external partners.
  • Analyze test results and prepare detailed evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance.
  • Document discrepancies and conduct regression testing to confirm resolution of issues.
  • Support production environments with automated test equipment (ATE) development and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of experience in software development (C, C , LabView preferred).
  • 4-6 years of experience in production environments.
  • 6 years of experience in test equipment design.
  • 6 years of experience in electronic testing.
  • 6 years of experience in mechanical testing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with LabView/Lab Windows CVI and National Instruments (NI) tools in both development and maintenance.
  • Strong proficiency in C/C with expertise in integrating ATE hardware (e.g., switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, automation).
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test equipment in high-volume production settings.
  • Background in Electro-Optic sensor systems for Defense or aerospace platforms.
