We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Multicurrency/Multi-Entity operations team at a leading Financial Services client. This is a critical role supporting a high-visibility AI transformation initiative focused on modernizing and optimizing complex financial operations processes.

This is 12 month plus contract, onsite in New York City, 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive user stories and epics for multicurrency trade processing and multi-entity booking model enhancements

  • Analyze and document current state processes across trades, regulations, accounting, and compensation workflows

  • Design future state process flows incorporating AI-powered automation and optimization

  • Create and maintain detailed desktop procedures for operations teams post-AI implementation

  • Collaborate with operations stakeholders to identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities

  • Support prompt engineering initiatives for AI tool integration with multicurrency workflows

  • Conduct thorough process testing and validation for regulatory compliance requirements

  • Partner with technology teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications

  • Document entity construction rules and booking model logic for multiple jurisdictions

  • Ensure client reporting processes maintain accuracy across currency conversions and entity structures

Required Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in multicurrency operations and multi-entity structures within investment banking, combined with strong Agile delivery capabilities

  • 2-5 years of Business Analysis experience in investment banking or capital markets

  • Deep domain expertise in multicurrency operations and multi-entity structures (mandatory)

  • Proven Agile experience with user story and epic development (non-negotiable)

  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, from execution through settlement

  • Experience with regulatory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions

  • Expertise in accounting principles for multi-currency transactions

  • Demonstrated ability to parse complex procedures and create improved documentation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
